FAQS
Frequently asked
questions.
What does our team need to create?
A product that solves a problem affecting people. Start with a clear understanding of who needs help and why, then develop a product that responds to that need. Be ready to show your product and explain the thinking behind it.
Who can take part?
The showcase is for students aged 13–21, working in teams of 2–6, entered through their school.
What does it cost to enter?
Nothing. Schools register their teams for free — there is no entry fee for schools or their students.
Do we need a finished idea before we sign up?
The journey includes product development and preparation. You can use that time to explore a problem, develop your idea and prepare for the live showcase. Contact us if you have questions about your team's readiness.
What happens on showcase day?
Teams set up physical stalls to present the products they have created. The day includes a live exhibition, judging, public viewing and an awards ceremony.
Where and when is the event?
The showcase is in March 2027 in London. The exact date and venue are still to be confirmed; venue details and the final schedule will be shared with registered schools.
How do sponsors get involved?
Sponsors can contact sponsors@thelondonstudentshowcase.com or use the sponsorship form to discuss supporting the showcase.
